Beverly Hills, Michigan 2026 Spring Tournament

It was a great day for chess at the Spring 2026 tournament in Beverly Hills, Michigan!

The event was held on April 18th at Groves High School. We were thrilled to welcome 120 young players competing across 3 divisions (K-1, 2-3, 4-5), showing off their focus, strategy, and sportsmanship.

Both the 2-3 division and 4-6 division had super close games that resulted in epic tie breakers!

Special thanks go out to Groves High School for hosting. To all the families that came to support their young players. And to all of our Chess Wizard staff: Jusin Pass, Justin Meek, Bob Pastor, Maggie Thomas, Vishal Srinivasan, Jason Motley, Coach T, Cormac Lindstrom, and Edwin Strode who worked so hard to put on this amazing event and helped create such a fun and welcoming environment - your hard work and dedication are so appreciated.
