Chess Vocabulary: Over The Board

In today's digital age, and especially after the pandemic, more and more chess players are switching to online chess portals to compete against each other - and under these circumstances, some chess terms are becoming more and more popular.

One of those terms is ‘over the board’, which means that two players are playing a match on an actual chess board while being physically present in the same spot.
