At Chess Wizards, we’ve always believed that chess is more than just a game – it’s a powerful tool for critical thinking, problem-solving, and confidence-building. That’s why we were thrilled to attend the AASA National Conference on Education (NCE) 2025, where education leaders gathered to discuss innovative strategies for improving K-12 education.
Throughout the event, we had the privilege of meeting with superintendents, school district administrators, and decision-makers who are passionate about bringing high-quality enrichment programs to their students. It was inspiring to see how many school leaders recognize the value of chess in enhancing cognitive skills, promoting strategic thinking, and fostering a love of learning.
One of the key takeaways from our discussions was the growing demand for programs that engage students in meaningful ways while reinforcing academic skills. Chess fits perfectly into this vision – it not only improves math and logic abilities but also encourages patience, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
We are incredibly grateful for the warm reception Chess Wizards received at NCE and for the opportunity to explore potential partnerships with school districts nationwide. Our mission is to make chess education accessible and enjoyable for as many students as possible, and we are excited about the possibilities ahead.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with us and to the AASA team for organizing such an impactful event. We look forward to continuing the conversation and working together to bring the benefits of chess to more students and schools across the country.
If you’re interested in introducing a Chess Wizards program in your school district, we’d love to connect and explore how we can make it happen!
