We had an absolute blast at our spring scholastic chess tournament which took place on March 23rd, 2024 in Waltham, MA.
Over 130 kids attended the tournament which ran games in 3 sections; kindergarten – 1st grade, 2nd grade - 3rd grade, and 4th grade – 5thgrade. Some highlights from the event include a PreK student winning the K-1 section, and a large group of students from the same school competing together as a team. Young chess wizards also loved the puzzle station, pizza time, and scavenger hunt held throughout the day.
We are so grateful for all of the instructors, support staff, parents, and students who helped make this event a success!
